(L.A.M.A) was founded in 1977 in Chicago’s notorious Humboldt Park neighborhood. From it’s inception L.A.M.A. was intended as a Moto-Touring club with truly Democratic ideas. A lone chapter until the first
chapter was started in Miami in 1995, LAMA became a National Association when the first national president was elected in 1996. In 1999 LAMA became an International Association with chapters in foreign countries. Evolving into a club without borders.
We are made up of all types with no social classifications to measure one or the other regardless of nationality, race, color, religion, social class, gender, age, brand of motorcycle, etc... We only expect you to follow the by-laws and have a mutual respect for all walks of life.

We are very proud of that and strive to grow the respect of all the communities we call home; by example and contribution to the cities and towns we represent. As LAMA members there are doors opened to us in every chapter city national and international.
LAMA's are also recognized as one of the most active long distance riding clubs in the world. We have national events yearly as well as international events we attend. This is a expectation as we mutually respect all chapters and contribute to promoting by attending events from our sister chapters. Nationally or abroad.

We also welcomed our family members, our children, wives, sisters, brothers, mother and fathers. We standby as a collective group.
